I was born during the Depression in Dallas, Texas,
and grew up in Kaufman Texas. Attended Henderson County Junior
College and North Texas University (BA-1954) and Southwestern Medical
School in Dallas, Texas, (MD-1957). Internship at University Hospital
in Little Rock Arkansas. I practiced in Post, Texas, for four and
one half years and in Lubbock Texas for forty three (43) years.
I practiced in a private practice and hospital group family practice.

I married Carolyn Curry in 1955. Carolyn graduated
from Parkland Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Dallas, Texas, in
1957. We have been greatly blessed with six children and 13
grandchildren (ages 30-5). We celebrated our 52nd anniversary
on October 1, 2007.
I enjoy fishing and bird hunting of any kind and am
the proud owner of an eleven year old Brittany named “Lucy”. I also
enjoy teaching a senior adult Sunday School Class.
Carolyn is extremely busy with our family, our church and various
civic activities.
Since our retirement in March of 2004, we have
enjoyed learning and sharing the Optimal Health of Mannatech’s
nutritional supplements, and more recently, the unique and much needed
Genetic Key Diet program. We're excited about the keen anticipation of
the great health benefit to be shared with others in this area.
After being on the Genetic Key Lifestyle program and using all components
including Genetic Key diet, glyco-nutritional supplements, and increased awareness of
needed activity:
- I have lost
significant pounds and inches.
- I
have pleasantly experienced "hunger
no longer being a problem".
- Energy levels
have increased.
I can only imagine
what profound benefits will be later experienced personally, and
shared responses of those we introduce to this program. I've have
had a personal belief for 15 years that nutritional supplements are
an absolute necessity to optimal health. Our
